Photo gallery: Indians honour their top achievers

All four of the club’s active senior teams gained a share of the spoils in their respective leagues, which delighted senior club chairperson Grant Sayers described as “a very strong foundation for the club”.

The Benoni Northerns Indians baseball club enjoyed an impressive senior winter season and honoured their top achievers at their annual prize giving ceremony at the club recently.

The senior first side, Chippewa, coached by Sayers, won the Major A Cup title. Wichita, under the mentorship of Jason Keen, clinched Major B Plate honours.

Sioux, coached by Ivan Emmett and Deon Beukes, captured a Major B league and cup double. The Mohicans outfit, under Warren Kidd’s watch, were crowned Senior Reserve plate winners.
