The Sibikwa Arts Centre hosted Dance Xplosion on April 27.
Diarora Performing Arts left others in the dust (literally) while using soil to enhance the style of their performance, called Mabu (the Soil). They won the second prize of R3 000.

The competition was held at the centre on the corner of Bolton Street and Liverpool Road, Benoni South.
This was the seventh Dance Xplosion and included 25 local dance groups, competing for a share of R10 000.
Untouchable Productions won the first prize of R5 000, Diarora Performing Arts won second prize of R3 000 and Kasi Presentation won third prize of R1 500.
R500 was awarded to The Perfect Storm for Most Promising Group.
