Christmas cheer on Russel Street

Mary Goby and the Santa Squad hosted the Rumble on Russel market on December 10.

Bee Isaac is part of the Santa Squad.

Goby said the money raised at the market would be donated to various charities, as well as for a Christmas lunch at Eddy House.

An amount of R5 000 was raised at the event; R2 000 will go towards the Christmas Lunch at Eddy House.

The rest of the money will be shared between The Murphy Cat Project and The Animal Guardians (Tag).

“Everybody enjoyed themselves at the market; some stalls even ran out of wine and food,” said Goby.
