Itumelang Makhobele, Kempton Park: It’s not fair to publish a story about someone that’s not true. It affects the person if the story is fake.
Charlotte Ditshego, Daveyton: It’s not fair and it could affect a lot of people. Fake news might lead to people committing suicide because their reputation could be damaged.
Suzan Nkadimeng, Daveyton: Publishing fake news is not right and is unfair to a person. How would you feel if you saw false news about yourself?
Ruan Jansen van Vuren: Publishing fake news won’t be fair to the person as it forms a negative image. It can affect a person at school or work.
