Funds raised at Trefoil Guild quiz

The Benoni Trefoil Guild held a quiz evening to raise funds for Lingelethu Home for the Elderly and Disabled in Modderbee, recently.

A total of 11 teams, made up of six people each, participated in the fund-raiser.

A series of questions were asked, including one about the colour of Donald Duck’s bow tie.

People were charged to participate in the quiz, which included dinner.

Raffle tickets and drinks were also on sale to help raise funds.

An overall amount of R5 500 was raised and will be donated to the home.
