Church brings in blood before winter

Connexions Church did their part for winter by organising a blood drive recently.

Members of South African National Blood Service (SANBS) were present at the church, at 12 Chaucer Street, Northmead, and received 10 donations in total, from 30 people who came to donate.

“I was surprised that we had so few, but many people who came through couldn’t donate due to the requirements,” said Nadia Smith, Connexions Church office manager. “We hope to do one every term and hopefully it will grow in the future.”
