These two youngsters, Nhlakanipho Zulu (left) of Benoni and Busiswa Shabane of Daveyton, recently graduated from the Peermont Hotel School (PHS) having successfully completed skill courses as a housekeeper and chef respectively. These learners, with other youngsters from Ekurhuleni, spent four months getting theoretical and practical training to give them a qualification and a better chance at employment and a career in the hospitality industry. The Peermont Hotel School, funded by the Peermont Community Benefit Trust, a CSI initiative of Emperors Palace, held its latest graduation ceremony for the 121 students who recently successfully completed their four-month fully-funded learnerships as either chefs, waitrons or housekeepers, at the Palace of Dreams’ Red Roman Shed.
