Rynpark cooks up a storm

Friends and family were also invited to enjoy the day.

Rynpark Two and Three opened their premises to fellow Rynpark residents to enjoy a day filled with fun and entertainment on October 6.

The Spring Day consisted of a potjiekos competition, tea garden, various stalls, and entertainment by a marimba and pipe band.

Residents from the other Rynparks also took part in the competition and trading their goods at stalls.

The aim of this potjie was to create a spooktacular vibe in celebration of Halloween. Seen here is Cobus Botes with his Halloween chicken curry.

Frikkie de Jager (left, chairperson of the Rynpark board) and André du Preez cooked a sheep ship La – France potjie.

Antoinette and Jan Kruger from Rynpark Three entered their lamb and beef potjie for the competition.

Piet Koen from Rynpark Two makes these miniature potjies.
