Winter Jazz Festival

Oleta Adams is an American jazz, soul and gospel singer and pianist. She will perform along several others jazz musicians at the Winter Jazz Festival at Carnival City this June.

For two days, Carnival City will host the melodic feast to celebrate this evocative genre of music.

Internationally acclaimed soul singer Musiq Soulchild will lead on the festival‘s first night.

The American musician has topped charts in the United States with his blend of soul, funk and hip hop music.

The second night of the festival will feature South African jazz musician Jonathan Butler.

This Grammy Award winning artist will be joined by jazz singer Oleta Adams and jazz saxophonist Euge Groove.

Oleta Adams brings the perfect foil for Butler, with her own brand of rhythm and blues music and soul, which should be a winner with the local fans.

Making his South African debut, Euge Groove boasts nine studio albums and 13 number one hits and he is no stranger to South African ears as he has topped many local radio charts.

These hot jazz artists will help thaw the audience and replace the winter blues with another kind of Blues.

The festival will run on June 12 and 13 at Carnival City.
