Venue set to host new supergroup

Lost and Found is a product of years spent touring the world, in vans and clubs, in a youthful delirium.

After more than 15 years playing in one of South Africa’s most beloved and successful rock bands, The Parlotones’, Glen Hodgson takes centre stage in this new musical project.

After touring Johannesburg as a solo act, Hodgson felt limited and wanted to push the boundaries of what he was creating.

Enter Jason Oosthuizen — a South African session drummer described as one of the most explosive live drummers South Africa has ever seen.

Oosthuizen currently drums for The Black Cat Bones and has worked with Van Coke Kartel, Fokofpolisiekar and One Day Remains.

The entrance of Oosthuizen into Lost and Found is the next step in the evolution of a band that has just touched the tip of their own musical iceberg.

The group will be touring for their debut album through South Africa in February and will hit “The Grid” as part of that tour.

Saarkie and Florida Lake are the support bands lined up for the evening.

The bands start playing at 8pm on Saturday, February 20, but doors open at 6pm.

The host is Grid and Grill Pub and Restaurant — 80 Pretoria Road, in Rynfield.
