Tribute to acoustic and Celtic rock

The talented 10-person cast of musicians and singers represents some of the greatest sounds and voices, starting with evergreens from groups in the 1960s and 1970s, such as The Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash.

Sing along to modern-day acoustic legends such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, James Blunt, Bruno Mars, Avicii, American Authors and our own homegrown acoustic music by artists such as Johnny Clegg and Matthew Mole.

Women in acoustic rock are also featured, with tributes to Sheryl Crow, Eva Cassidy, Carole King and Taylor Swift.

Bonfire Hearts will feature all-time classics, such as Hotel California, Sweet Home Alabama, Sweet Caroline and The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Instrumental highlights include the all-time audience favourite Duelling Banjos, and The Lord of the Dance.

From the beauty of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen to the heartfelt Story of My Life by One Direction, Bonfire Hearts is a spectacular show of spectacular musical quality, of beauty, power, emotion, rhythm and harmony.

The show, which will feature music in the Celtic style for those who love this classic genre, will run from June 3 to 19, in The Barnyard Theatre, Emperors Palace.

On Tuesdays to Saturdays, shows start at 8pm and, on Sundays, at 2pm.
