Sadé and Emmanuel kick off Show Bar performances

On Friday and Saturday nights, music lovers can look forward to spectacular live entertainment by up-and-coming performers and bands.

Wrapping-up the Show Bar’s January entertainment line-up is Sadé on Friday, January 30, and Emmanuel Castis on January 31.

Emerging songstress, Sadé Anderson might be quite new to the entertainment industry but she has been singing and performing since the tender age of 12.

In the past year alone she has performed at various venues in and around Johannesburg, such as Katzys in Rosebank, Cappello’s in Norwood, Smith and Woolensky steakhouse in Eastgate, Tinino’s bar in Orange grove, The

Sugar Shack club in Florida, the Kensington Johannesburg Golf club and The Carousel Casino.

She is not just a singer, she is an all round entertainer that is very good at reading her crowd and giving an audience what they want.

With a repertoire of over one hundred songs that is continuously being updated, Sadé promises something for everyone.

Emmanuel Castis, born and raised in Johannesburg, has been a professional actor for 14 years.

Started his career in musical theatre, performing in productions like Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show, Frankly Speaking, Bachelor Boy, Let the Good Times Roll, Doowah Boys, and Grease.

His television career has included the roles of Steve in the much-loved daily drama Isidingo, Brent in One Way, Uri in Snitch, Cole in Scandal and Chris in the very popular SABC 2 drama Erfsondes.

Emmanuel released his first music album, South of Nowhere, in 2008.

He plays regularly at corporate events, fundraisers and music venues as part of a duo with Dalliance.

Doors open at 7pm and performers take to the stage from 8pm and there is no charge to enjoy the shows.
