The song was downloaded more than 20 000 times on iTunes, ensuring it platinum status as a single.

The music video has also enjoyed tremendous success, reaching almost one million views on YouTube.

Now, local fans can experience the song live, in all its glory, along with a diverse collection of van Coke’s and Zoid’s latest hits.

“We are expecting a sold out show and urge fans to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment,” said Matthew Cook, the events and entertainment manager at Carnival City.

Throughout a career spanning more than 10 years, Zoid has managed that unusual and tricky feat of balancing popular appeal with critical praise; of securing an audience of both Afrikaans and English speakers, and of retaining her individuality.

His solo album celebrates a new chapter in his personal life and musical career.
