Gola set to deliver his satiric news live

This stand-up comedy performance is Gola‘s interpretation of South African affairs over the last six months and reflects how the recent Sona left many South Africans uncertain about the government’s priorities.

The performance is a great way to bring to light serious matters in an animated delivery which does not distort the message.

Gola is a stand-up comedian and the co-creator and anchor of the late-night satirical TV-series ‘Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola’ which launched on e-tv in 2010.

Never known as one to pull his punches, Gola’s comedy style has won him many admirers as he has continuously gone where most comedians do not dare to go.

In true form to his outspoken and intelligently frank manner, an enthralling show is to be expected at the Theatre of Marcellus on July 10.

Doors open at 7.15pm and Gola will start his jokes at 8pm.
