Benjamin Dube set to perform in July

This celebrated South African gospel singer will be recording the fifth instalment of his widely-revered “In His Presence” album series.

For this live recording, Dube will be leading worship with a star-studded line-up of gospel performers, including Nqubeko Mbatha and Ntokozo Mbambo from Joyous Celebration, the renowned Dube Brothers, and others.

“Gospel music enthusiasts can look forward to an evening of grand gospel entertainment and intimate worship with one of South Africa’s foremost music ministerial visionaries,” said Matthew Cook, entertainment manager at Carnival City.

Loved by audiences of every age and background, Dube’s previous offerings included “In His Presence”, “Worship In His Presence”, “Healing In His Presence”, “Renewal In His Presence” and, now, “Sanctified In His Presence”.

The founder of the High Praise Centre, in Boksburg, Dube recorded his first single, “Holy Spirit”, in 1986.

It was a cross-over hit song and chart-buster on local radio stations and sold over 25 000 units in South Africa in the year of its release.

Dube will perform in the Big Top Arena at 7.30pm, but doors open at 6pm.

There will be an entrance fee.
