Topclass Pantsula drops EP

The EP has seven tracks.

Daveyton muso Xolani ‘Topclass Pantsula’ Nkosi hopes his seven-track EP brings back the love of community and helps those with low self-esteem.

The EP, Bahle Abantu (the people are beautiful), is a fusion of kwaito and amapiano. Nkosi chose the title after noticing a lack of self-love in his community.

“There’s no more self-love and appreciation in the community. I want to bring confidence to my people because having low self-esteem can lead to depression and self-doubt,” he said.

The lead song from the recording, Abantu Abahle (beautiful people), promotes self-belief and removes self-doubt from young people battling things like unemployment.

“The song encourages people to have fun, enjoy life and believe in themselves. You will find tracks like Lwela Tsotsi (keep fighting) that encourage people to fight for their careers.

“This EP is the best because it brings back the kwaito feel and kasi street culture and is a confidence booster,” said Nkosi.
