Gauteng social development extends support to NPOs as signing of interim SLAs begins

The Gauteng Department of Social Development is inviting qualifying NPOs to sign interim service level agreements (SLAs) for the remaining six months of the current financial year.

The signing of interim SLAs for quarters three and four is set to commence on September 3 in regional offices.

Earlier this year, the department used last year’s SLA’s to sign interim SLAs for this financial year in a bid to stabilise NPOs funding.

Through these interim service level agreements, scores of NPOs received payments from the department for quarters one and two.

The signing of the interim service level agreements will start this week and payments for quarters three and four will be made in October to qualifying NPOs.
