Man sentenced to 15 years imprisonment
Putfontein SAPS station commander Lieutenant Colonel Frans Marweshe has welcomed the sentence.
The Benoni Regional Court recently sentenced Lucky Ndlovu (23) to 15 years imprisonment for house robbery.
Ndlovu entered a shack where a 43-year-old woman was sleeping and he demanded the woman’s cellphone and money on November 11, 2022.
The 43-year-old woman then phoned her daughter and gave the suspect’s full description. It is reported that the daughter found the suspect but he fled the scene.
He was arrested on November 30, 2022 after a case of house robbery was opened at Putfontein SAPS. The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Teboho Koko.
