Norma Mpele: “I am a good woman because I surround myself with good people. As women we need to serve as examples for one another.”

As we celebrate Women’s Month, the Benoni City Times asked local women what makes them unique.

Alinah Teme: “I am a positive person who believes in myself. I always prioritise my happiness.”

Leah-Ann Harris: “I have experienced my fair share of trauma but I use those experiences to grow, be resilient and determined.”

Evelyn Xalabile: “I am trustworthy and I have a spirit of never giving up until I get things done. I am not afraid to fail and try again.”

Julie Naidoo: “I am a leader that does not believe that people have weaknesses. Through motivation and guidance, weaknesses become strengths.”
