We salute you, ACA

Farouk Araie expresses gratitude.

Farouk Araie, Mackenzie Park, writes:

On June 22, amidst the coldness of winter, devoted volunteers from the Actonville Community Alumni (ACA) visited an underprivileged crèche in Emandleni distributing critical essentials, such as soup, bread, blankets, puzzles and bags of goodies each child.

The magnitude of this task defies explanation. It is the generosity of ACA that brings hope and opportunity to community members in distress.

The group’s unwavering commitment to care for our vulnerable members of society brings comfort and solace to a multitude of our people who are in dire need of assistance.

We live in unprecedented times as poverty and uncertainty stalks our land.

It is the unprecedented efforts of the ACA, that renders humanitarian assistance, whose scope and depth enhances the quality of life and brings a new lease of life for many in our neglected society.

As a community, we are exceedingly grateful for your generous donations and contributions to the educational sector.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to all your members who pioneered the feeding scheme, which became a monumental success and awoke those in the corridors of power to assist a community in dire need.

In your relentless efforts to assist our community your have transformed apathy into energy, failures into success and hopelessness into constructive opportunities.

We are blessed and forever grateful to the ACA. Our volunteers are indeed symbols of individual excellence. (Letter shortend).
