Tee off for dog attack victims

The day is aimed at raising much needed funds to clear hospital debt.

The lives of Linda and Brayden Venter changed in an instant on August 29.

Their beloved dog, Zeus, viciously turned on them, leaving the pair with deep scars and emotional trauma.

In the months that followed the Brentwood Park mother and son have physically recovered from their extensive wounds, with Linda learning to cope with life’s challenges with only one arm.

While the scars have healed, the family is buckling under the pressure of clearing medical expenses incurred following the incident.

To lighten the financial burden, the Venter Family Charity Fund will host a golf day on April 5 at the Benoni Lake Golf Club.

With only a few four balls still available, they urged those interested to make their last-minute booking.
