Some 71 719 full-time and 182 056 part-time candidates took their seats to complete their final National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination at the end of October.
Their hard work and determination paid off when they returned to school on January 19 to collect their results.
The Benoni City Times visited Lesiba Secondary School, Hoërskool Brandwag, Wiliam Hills Secondary School, Willowmoore High School and St Francis College to capture the learners’ jubilation.
