Benoni Aurora’s golf day a swinging success

Proceeds raised on the day will go towards helping the club's community projects in the greater Benoni area.

The annual golf day of the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora on August 23 was described as a success by participants and club members.

The fundraising day, which boasted 12 four-balls and about 60 participants, was in support of the club’s local community projects.

An artwork, donated by Elaine Marx of Art Alive School, was auctioned at the prizegiving dinner and many prizes were given away from the sale of raffle tickets.

According to Benoni Aurora Rotary Anns’ president, Janice Carter, all the proceeds raised on the day will go towards helping the club’s community projects in the greater Benoni area.
