The New World Shotokan (NWS) Benoni Dojo participated in the Goshukan World Union of Karate-do Federations (WUKF) inter-club all-styles tournament in Brakpan recently.

According to sensei Janien Potgieter, this was the club’s first WUKF all-styles tournament.

“The event was well organised and received. There we over 300 competitors. We are very proud of our guys who won medals and all those who took part. Winning doesn’t make you a winner. Being at the championships and competing makes you a winner,” said Potgieter.
