All Africa Championships: South Africa through to quarter-finals

The knock-outs will start at 15:00.

South Africa marched to the badminton quarter-finals of the All Africa Senior Championships after beating Uganda 4-1 at the John Barrable Hall on February 14.

Despite losing one game, it was another dominant display from the hosts after their 5-0 drubbing of Mozambique on day one.

They are at the summit of group B. Uganda are second while Mozambique are last with no points having lost all their matches in the group.

South Africa will take on Zambia while Uganda will face Egypt.

Results from day two:

• Algeria 5-0 Zimbabwe
• Nigeria 5-0 Lesotho
• Egypt 5-0 Zambia
• Mauritius 5-0 Reunion
