ACA T20 at Willowmoore Park reaches knockout stage today

Entry is free so bring the whole family to enjoy the cricket action at Willowmoore Park.

The inaugural Africa Cricket Association (ACA) T20 tournament at Willowmoore Park has reached its climax with the knockout stage set to take place today (September 21).

After a wobbly start to the competition with the Nigerian team pulling out due to visa issues, Tanzania was added as replacements and they have taken the tournament by storm with a string of fine performances.

The East African country, along with Uganda, are the only sides to register three wins out of three matches.

Botswana and Kenya have both registered two wins and have qualified for the semi-finals.

Uganda will take on Kenya in the first semi-final. Tanzania will battle against Botswana in the second knockout.

Entry is free.

Cricket lovers are invited to come and enjoy some entertaining action on the Willowmoore Park main ground.

Prohibited items include glass bottles, guns, and open fire braais, only gas braais are allowed.
