Local residents enjoyed another shopping experience at the BCT car boot sale and Bunny Park Food and Craft Market on July 30.
They enjoyed good music and food at the craft market while affordable second-hand goods were on offer at the car-boot sale.
The SANBS was also present to urge people to donate blood.
Sarita Raubeheimer from the SANBS urged South Africans to keep donating blood. She said: “The sad thing about South Africa is that with a population of almost 60 million people, less than 450 000 people donate blood. That’s less than 1% and it’s scary when people need blood and there isn’t any available.”
The next market is on August 27 at the Bunny Park.

Lisa Rotering was at the BCT car boot sale and Bunny Park craft market to enjoy the atmosphere and donate blood. She said: “The donating of blood becomes personally important when a loved one is still alive because of the generosity of strangers.”
Taylor Kane joined her family to have fun at the BCT car boot sale and Bunny Park craft market.
It was Melisa Danku's first time at the market. She said: “I am definitely coming back. My products are bought in bulk here. I've been to many markets and my products were not selling as much as they do here.”
