Middleburg crowned ASPL T20 champions

The Middleburg Cricket Club beat Roshnee to win the second annual ASPL T20 tournament on July 17 at Lord’s Cricket Ground in Actonville.
Twelve teams from across the country took part in the tournament and it was the club from Mpumalanga that beat everyone to claim the top prize.

Actonville Spurs PR officer, Zunaid Seedat, stated that he was satisfied with the turnout.
“We would like to thank Broadway Sweets, Tobacco Paradise and Sedgars Sports and all the teams for helping us organise a successful tournament.”
Anton Potgieter was awarded the batsmen of the tournament after scoring two centuries and a half-century. Naeem Patel won the best bowler of the tournament.
