Have you got recyclables?

The Benoni Lakes Lions Club will be in Atlasville on July 2 to collect your used printer cartridges, plastic bottle tops, bread tags, books, spectacles and sunglasses.

Bring your unwanted goods to the park near the Total garage on the corners of Dodo and Nightingale streets, from 8:00 to 10:00 and receive a free boerewors roll in exchange for your donation.

The Litterbugs team will also be busy in the morning, clearing litter from the area while Owl Rescue will have Spekboompies on sale.

The initiative forms part of the organisation’s ongoing Recycle for Sight programme.
