45’s Eastside Charter reaches out to the Benoni SPCA

An SPCA staff member welcomed the food, blanket and monetary donations

A group of bikers from the 45’s Eastside Charter recently showered the Benoni SPCA with blankets and animal food.

According to Cyle Hendrickse, the donation comes after one of their members asked if they can help the Benoni SPCA with blankets after seeing a need.

“Because we know that SPCAs across the country take strain with food and blankets for the animals, we then agreed to assist. We organised the drive calling for people to donate blankets as well as other donations,” said Hendrickse.

Offloading blankets and dog food for the Benoni SPCA animals are members of the 45’s Eastside Charter.

“On the day of the handover, we were welcomed with joyful smiles and barking dogs. An SPCA staff member welcomed the food, blanket and monetary donation. She mentioned that they were truly grateful for the donation because they were running low on food,” said Hendrickse.

Members of the 45’s Eastside Charte spent their Saturday morning showing love to the furry friends at the Benoni SPCA.

“As a club, we would like to thank Auto Lab, Dot Towing, Dingos pub and restaurant, RN Tattoos and Caity Nail Salon and the biking community for supporting this worthy initiative,” said Hendrickse.
