Cricketer needs help to attend tour

Young cricket sensation Bruzaan Goosen has been selected for the junior girls’ national indoor cricket team for the national coastal tour scheduled for September 30 to October 9.
The 11-year-old maverick needs financial assistance so that she can attend the tour.
“I’m appealing to anyone to help my little girl achieve her dream. Any amount will make a big difference,” said Bruzaan’s father Bruce.
In a letter sent to parents, Indoor Cricket South Africa’s vice-president, Elrich van de Venter stated that the costs for the tour will come from the players’ pockets.
“The cost to attend this very prestigious event will be for the account of the players and will amount to R15 000 which will include clothing, travel, accommodation and meals.

“These payments are compulsory and non-compliance shall lead to automatic disqualification.”
Bruce told the paper that his daughter has had a good season and that this tour will help shape her career.
“She’s passionate and at the age of 11, she has done well for herself. This tour to Cape Town will give her extra motivation to push herself.”
