Conductor Pienaar Fourie led members of the East Rand Youth Orchestra during its Sing, Benoni, Sing! concert at Jatniël Gemeente in Benoni.

The East Rand Youth Orchestra serenaded music lovers with uplifting spiritual songs during its Sing, Benoni, Sing! concert at Jatniël Gemeente in Benoni on March 12.

The orchestra, which was led by conductor Pienaar Fourie, evoked emotions throughout the religious concert, which was attended by over 500 people.

“By far, this was the biggest audience we have had in the 44 years of our existence. We were so scared and excited at the same time. We thank everyone who supported us,” said Fourie.
