The Etwatwa police are investigating a case of murder after a 38-year-old man was shot dead outside his home in Barcelona on January 8.
According to the Col Molatelo Maoto of Etwatwa SAPS, while officers were patrolling the vicinity of the said section, they were alerted to a shooting incident.
“When police arrived on scene, they found the 38-year-old man, who had bullet wounds, in a pool of blood outside his home.
“Ambulances were called to the scene and the man was certified dead,” said Maoto.
The police are appealing to anyone who might have information about the incident to contact Det Sgt Masikhwa on 074 435 3525 or acting branch commander Capt Mathebula on 082 332 4722.
