Letter: You helped us to make a difference, thank you!

While experiencing challenges, the foundation could still make an impactful difference, thanks to the support of sponsors.

The Lazarus Legacy Foundation team writes:
We want to express our sincere gratitude for your support in 2021.

The non-profit sector has experienced unprecedented change over the past year. In an instant, major fund-raisers and events had to pivot to virtual experiences where possible or be cancelled altogether.

At the same time, the demand for non-profit community services soared in the middle of an economic downturn, historic unemployment and a major health crisis.

Although we have faced many challenging times, we were still able to make an impactful difference and this was only possible through the support of all of our sponsors.

We are humbled by your generous contributions and hope you would consider partnering with

The Lazarus Legacy Foundation in 2022.

The Lazarus Legacy Foundation actively engages government, private corporations and civil society to deliver workable and impactful solutions in the areas of:

• Education: enabling success in education through tutoring, support and guidance

• Community building: implementing moral regeneration initiatives that address the ills and failings of societal living

• Health and welfare: delivering health and welfare initiatives to the disenfranchised

• Economic development: encouraging entrepreneurial fervour and empowering for entrepreneurial activity

Thanks to your contributions, we have done the following:

• Distributed 100 school shoes and 150 stationery packs to school children

• Serviced over four different informal settlements and locations with medical care

• The tuition centre was able to assist over 45 learners throughout the year to achieve better results, including 14 matriculants

• We were able to achieve a successful charity golf day.

• Two thousand grocery hampers were distributed and we are distributing the last 500 before Christmas

You have made a world of difference, not just to us but to those who benefited from your generosity as well.

Once again, we say thank you for all of your support.

You are valued and play an integral part in our organisation.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and safe festive season and a prosperous New Year.
