The 2021 Benoni Beer and Gin Fest at Benoni Northerns was a great success and a fun day out despite some wet weather.
Jemma Pringle, journalist for the City Times, was invited by the organisers to take part.
The MC for the day was Steve East, with all three organisers in attendance, Dax Menday, Dimitri Seretis and Etienne Erasmus.
“We as the organisers and I think Benoni as a whole, really needed an event like this after so much time away,” said Menday.
“The beers were flowing, the gins were delicious and the music was awesome. Together with a crowd safely enjoying themselves, this was a really cool day.
“Hopefully, we will be able to host the event on its normal date (first week of June), as we have a great line-up planned.”
