Farrarmere Primary first team win district finals

“Congratulations to Mr Watkins and his team.”

Farrarmere Primary School’s first team cricket boys recently won their district finals, leaving their coach proud at the end of a well-fought season.

Bernice Martinaglia, Farrarmere Primary sports coordinator, said coach Brad Watkins had an amazing season with the boys and they played like dynamite in their finals.

“They played the semis and finals in one day due to the weather, making a total of 1 228 runs for the season all together.”

Matthew Bromley had a great season, according to his coach, as he was chosen for the provincial side.

His partner in crime, Aiden Reyneke, also had a brilliant season, where he scored his 100 in five games, three of them being consecutive wins.

“We are super proud of this team, they all played like champions and this is a well-deserved title,” said Martinaglia.

“Congratulations to Mr Watkins and his team.”
