Company makes a donation to Kids Haven

EHL donated food items, stationery, soccer balls, crockery, Easter marshmallow eggs and money to Kids Haven.

Over the Easter weekend on April 2, the staff of EHL Consulting Engineers visited Kids Haven in Cranbourne Avenue, where they donated food items, stationery, soccer balls, crockery, Easter eggs and money.

Rachel Leibbrandt, HR manager for the company, explained that as part of their corporates social investment programme they help various organisations based in the towns their employees live.

“We have employees who live in the Benoni area and chose Kids Haven as we feel strongly about helping and nurturing our future leaders and generations and for the fact that the organisation helps others in its community,” she said.

“Our company has a passion for people because our business is people,” said Chiel van Niekerk, EHL group development.

“We donate to the underprivileged, hoping that it will not only make a difference in their lives but also allow them the chance to one day become part of an organisation such as ours.”
