Grid no 5 South African long driving

The stage is set for our last chance Qualifying event on November 14

At the Grasslands Driving Range in Benoni, the Grid Pro 5 was held leading up to the last qualifying rounds.

“What a crazy day it was,” said Stephen van Zyl, owner of Grid Pro longest drive.

Gridpro SA has also recently added to their roster an amateur division and two more divisions – the men’s pro seniors and men’s seniors divisions in the run up to the SA finals which are scheduled for December 5 to 6.

Winners of the Grid Pro 5 are as follows:

Andrew Mare (amateurs), Stephen van Zyl (seniors), Jason Cook (men’s pro and pro seniors) and Nico Potgieter (longest drive of the day).

The order of Merit race to the finals is still lead by Thorne Van Zyl who enjoys a 300 point lead.

The final qualifying rounds will be on November 14 with the finals taking place on December 5 and 6.
