Identify your stolen goods at the Etwatwa SAPS

A case of house break-in and theft was opened at the Etwatwa Police Station and is still ongoing.

Etwatwa SAPS is requesting members of the community to come forward with information after a house in Barcelona, Etwatwa, was found with suspected stolen goods inside on January 2.

Spokesperson Capt Ramothakhi Maqabe said they need assistance in identifying the goods in order to strengthen the case against the alleged suspect, who fled.

“The goods were seized after a community member tipped-off the police,” said Maqabe.

The goods that were seized include electrical appliances, jewellery, a washing machine, a stove, shoes, clothes, blankets, four plasma televisions and Ekurhuleni wheelie bins.

A case of house break-in and theft was opened at the Etwatwa Police Station and is still ongoing.

Anyone who has lost the mentioned goods must bring any proof of purchase at the station on 65 Gideon Nkomo Drive, Etwatwa.
