Chelsea Lane is a care centre for frail people, Alzheimer’s sufferers as well people suffering from any other debilitating diseases.

Owner Wendy Hayward said the care centre caters for patients recovering from illnesses and operations.

“We can take patients from 30 years of age, depending on diagnosis, and are specialists in Alzheimer’s, dementia, frail care, multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease,” said Wendy.

“We specialise in Alzheimer’s care and our Alzheimer’s unit is very colourful, which plays an important part in keeping our residents happy.”

Wendy added that research has shown that people who suffer from this disease thrive in a home-style setting; therefore the unit is very much a home from home.

“Our communal living structures help our residents become a big family unit and while doing this keep their dignity and comfort as a top priority.”
