Give your loose change and help Benoni Lakes Lions
Be on the lookout for their branded money collection tins at various stores.
The Benoni Lakes Lions Club is calling on community members to donate their loose change and make a difference.
Benoni Lakes Lions Club spokesperson Beaulieu Maré said they would like Benonians to be on the lookout for their branded money collection tins at various stores and to kindly donate their loose change.

“Our aim is to flood every Benoni store with our money collection tins at their till points,” said Beaulieu.
“We are also asking local stores and companies who would like to be part of this initiative to contact us so that we can place the tins at their premises.”
Beaulieu explained that 50 per cent of the contributions will go towards building a local eye clinic.
The eye clinic, which is estimated to cost around R3-million to R4-m, is a long-term goal the club wants to achieve and will be open to indigent members of society.
“The other 50 per cent of the proceeds will go towards their community projects.”
