A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of two people and the attempted murder of two others in Actonville today (March 6).
Police arrested the armed suspect shortly after the shooting took place on Pillay Street leaving two men dead, and, a pregnant woman and a one-year-old child injured.

According to Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Capt Ramothakhi Maqabe, police cannot confirm whether the suspect or the firearm that was in the suspect’s possession is connected to the crime, but they are investigating.
The City Times was on scene where residents surrounded the area which was cordoned off by police.
Maqabe said at around a drive-by shooting occurred earlier today.
“One of the victims, who was killed, was found lying on the street and the other victim was found inside a silver Honda with the woman and child,” said Maqabe.
It is believed the injured woman, child and one of the deceased are from Reiger Park.
Police continue to investigate.
