Children can have lots of fun at Carnival City

The holidays have begun.

School’s out and so the little ones should be too … at Carnival City for the festive season.

Carnival has their daily entertainment of Lazer Zone, Go-Karting on a simulated Grand Prix circuit, arcade games at the Magic Company, latest movies at SterKinekor and ten-pin bowling, rides for smaller children and carnival stalls where youngsters can take a stab at winning prizes.

With a jam-packed holiday programme unfolding at the Pocket Park from December 13, each day comes standard with face painters and balloon modellers and stilt walkers in princess and pirate costumes.

On weekends, there are arts and crafts to look forward to as well.

There is no cost to join the festivities in the Pocket Park from noon to 5pm daily.

Another highlight of the holiday entertainment schedule is the opening of the highly anticipated next instalment of the Transformers series, Bumblebee, at SterKinekor at Carnival City.

Adding to the excitement, Santa will be visiting Carnival City to meet and greet his young followers.

The programme for this holiday is as follows:

 

• December 22 – festival-themed cupcake crafts

• December 23 – festival-themed bead, pipe cleaner and paper crafts

• December 29 – festival-themed crown and sword paper crafts.

• December 30 – bracelet and pen cuddlier crafts

• January 5 – pirates and mermaid paper bag crafts

• January 6 – sand art.
