iThemba educates youngsters in Benoni CBD

Helen said Rose explained to the children in an appropriate manner so they could understand.

The CareInn Children’s Centre in Benoni CBD are grateful to Rose Maja from iThemba Rape and Trauma Centre who visited them recently to talk about child bullying and abuse.

“The children watched a DVD from Gauteng Education Department. It is an animated story which explains to our children about bullying and child abuse,” said principal of CareInn, Helen Jeffrey.

“Rose elaborated after the movie, to the children, explaining what to do when they are in these situations and also the danger in our society of children being kidnapped.”

“She sang and interacted with them,” Helen said.

“As the principal of CareInn, and on behalf of our precious children, we can’t thank Rose enough for her educational and enjoyable visit.

“Thank you, Rose, for what you are doing for our children.”
