The three suspects in the murder of Daniël Botha (26) appeared at the Benoni Magistrate’s Court on September 27 and the case was postponed to November 14 for further investigation.
The trio, all aged 22, Gideon Fourie, Jacques de Lange and Sampie Hearn, were granted R5 000 bail each.

Botha died from injuries he sustained after a fight broke out at a Lakefield pub on July 26.
Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said a case of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm was opened however the charge was amended to murder when Botha died in hospital on July 29.
