Three wanted by police after Brentwood Park house robbery

A case of house robbery was opened at the Benoni Police Station.

Police are on the hunt for three suspects in connection with a house robbery on Friday (August 10).

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Captain Nomsa Sekele said the robbery took place at around 3am at a house in Brentwood Park.

“The three entered the house through a window, and then they went to the bedroom where the son was sleeping,” said Sekele.

“They pointed a firearm at the son and went to the parents’ bedroom and demanded money.”

They stole jewellery, a laptop, computer, cellphones, Krugerrands and a bicycle.

The three men fled with a VW Polo and Ford Ranger.

Both vehicles were recovered in Tembisa.

No arrests and no injuries reported.
