Help others by donating blood

SANBS needs you to help others in need.

Donate blood because blood saves lives, are the words of donor relations practitioner in Benoni Terrance Pillay to mark National Blood Donor Month (June).

“SANBS is experiencing a critical blood shortage,” Pillay explained.

He encouraged those who are able to donate blood, to donate because it is a small act of kindness that goes a long way.

“These donors don’t just give blood, they donate experiences, opportunities and potential,” he said.

“A blood donation allows stories of hope to become reality.”

Regular blood donor Piet Germishuys of Benoni Agricultural Holdings said he has been donating blood for about 30 years.
