No injuries were sustained when a light motor vehicle caught fire on the N12 highway this morning (April 9).
The incident happened on the west-bound carriageway, before the Snake Road off-ramp, at about 7am.
The male driver of the VW golf one apparently noticed smoke coming out of his car’s engine, which resulted in him pulling over.
ER24 spokesperson Liam Hardy said the man was not injured.
