Pro rugby player caps Brandwag players
The youngsters were delighted to see the old boy.
Former Hoërskool Brandwag learner and provincial rugby player Jacques Nel, who now plies his trade with the Kings in the Pro14 competition, visited his old stomping grounds on March 29.
This was to hand over numbered scarves in a ‘capping’ ceremony for the school’s first rugby team players ahead of their eight-day tour to George during the school holidays.
They departed for George on March 31.
