“Three suspects (aged 25, 27 and 28) armed with knives threatened to stab the complainant [then stole] a handbag with cash and cellphones,” said Actonville SAPS spokesperson Pheello Mothapo.

Mothapo added that the suspects made a getaway in a blue Jetta.

“The police spotted the suspects fitting the description and gave chase,” he said.

The suspects were arrested and found with knives and stolen items, [including] CPF items.

“The suspects are also linked to other cases such as house break-ins and robberies in the area,” Mothapo said.
